Counselling & Psychotherapy

Veronica is a professionally qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Middlesex University in the U.K. and a Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy from PCI College in Dublin. Veronica also achieved a Certificate in ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and is an fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP).

Veronica has practiced as a Counsellor & Psychotherapist for over 7 years both on a freelance basis working for agencies and in her own private practice. She works principally with such issues as depression, bereavement, trauma, childhood abuse, sexuality, self- esteem, personal development, bullying, separation & divorce, intimacy, loss of identity, anger, loneliness, conflict management, panic attacks, anxiety and stress.

Veronica’s style of counselling is supportive, focusing on listening to the client and providing insight into how change can be effected in their lives or helping them to live more creatively with that which cannot be changed. She has an eclectic style of counselling and uses different schools of therapy depending on the client s needs: body work, art therapy and directive or cognitive approaches may be employed, all within the client’s comfort zone.
  

Executive & Life Coach

Veronica is a professionally qualified Executive & Life Coach with an Accredited Diploma in Life & Executive Coaching from the Positive Success Group in Marino Institute of Education. Veronica also achieved a QQI Level 6 in Professional Coaching Practise and Ethics.

Veronica works with coaching clients to help them achieve a number of desired results such as; life/career direction, gaining clarity, discovering value systems, achieving fulfilment, discovering life purpose, gaining life balance, becoming accountable, achieving growth and creating change/action in their lives.

Veronica’s coaching style is casual yet professional as she is personable and highly skilled as a coach. Veronica’s strengths as a coach are that she can both challenge the client to step outside their comfort zone to achieve their best while being a support to the client during this process. Having personally experienced the challenges and changes that coaching brings Veronica is extremely empathic¬†of the clients journey from this perspective.
